This app is available for free from Microsoft's app store:

  • Open

To save the PDF file as a JPEG file, you must use your Mac's preview app, as third-party PDF apps don't always have this option. You do this as follows:

Go to http://wordtojpeg.com/ in your computer's web browser. This is a free website that allows you to save both Word and PDF files in jpeg file format.

Step 2. Click UPLOAD FILES

It's a green button near the center of the page.
