Deleting your browsing history is a great way to protect your privacy and remove clutter from your search history. If you want to learn how to delete browsing history in Google Chrome, follow the simple steps below.
Step 1. Open your Google Chrome browser
Step 2. Click on "History
You can find this option in the middle of the options, at the top left of the Google Chrome menu.
You can also find this option by selecting "Customize and manage Google Chrome", at the top right of the screen, then select "History"
Step 3. Select "Clear browsing data
You'll find this option at the top left of the screen. This will bring up a new screen where you can indicate what you want to delete.
Step 4. Indicate a specific period
Decide whether you want to "remove all of the following" from the following time periods:
- The past hour.
- The past day.
- Last week.
- The past four weeks.
- "Entire history." This will delete all browsing history.
Step 5. Edit the data
Now that you've chosen a specific time period, you can choose which part of the browsing history you want to delete. Choose one or more of the following options:
- Clear browsing history.
- Clear download history.
- Clear cache.
- Clear cookies, site and plug-in data.
- Clear passwords.
- Clear form data.
- Clear data from hosted apps.
- Deauthorize contact licenses.
Step 6. Select "Clear browsing data
