The WhatsApp messaging app makes it possible to communicate with other WhatsApp users via voice, video and text messages. This article will teach you how to record your screen activity during a video call on WhatsApp.
Part 1 of 2: Enable screen recording in iOS
Step 1. Tap the Settings icon
This will open the Settings page.
- If you can't find the Settings icon, swipe right on your device's home screen and type "Settings" in the search bar at the top of the screen. Press the icon
when it appears in the search results.
Step #2. Press Control Center
Step #3. Press Customize Controls
Step 4. Press it
You may need to scroll down the Customize Controls menu to see all the options. This will cause the Screen Capture icon (
) to your Control Center screen.
Part 2 of 2: Record a video call in WhatsApp
Step #1. Press the Home button
This is the physical button below your device's screen. Pressing this will take you back to your device's home screen.
Step 2. Tap the WhatsApp icon to open the app
The icon resembles a white telephone receiver within a white speech bubble on a green background.
If you can't find the WhatsApp icon, swipe right on your device's home screen and type "WhatsApp" in the search bar at the top of the screen. Tap the WhatsApp icon when it appears in the search results
Step #3. Press Calls
The Calls icon, which resembles a telephone, appears at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Tap the New Call icon in the top right corner of the screen
The icon resembles a phone with a small plus sign next to it.
Step 5. Tap the video camera icon next to the contact you want to call
WhatsApp will establish a video connection with this person.
Step 6. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen
This will bring up the Control Center screen. Here you would find the icon
However, on certain iOS devices, the Control Center screen is displayed by swiping down from the top right corner
Step 7. Long press the icon
Step 8. Tap the microphone icon at the bottom of the screen
This will enable the microphone, allowing Screen Capture to now capture the sound in addition to the video.
Step 9. Press Start Recording
After three seconds, Screen Recording will start recording all activity on your screen.
When Screen Recording is active, a red bar will appear at the top of your screen
Step 10. When you are done, press the red bar to end the recording
Your iPhone will ask to confirm that you want to stop Screen Recording.
