WhatsApp is a fun app, and it's also easy to customize. Are you tired of that default beige background in all your conversations? Then change your wallpaper in the settings by tapping 'Chats' and then 'Wallpaper'.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: On an Android
Step 1. Open WhatsApp
Step #2. Tap on ⋮
Step #3. Tap on Settings
Step #4. Tap on Chats
Step 5. Tap on Wallpaper
Step 6. Tap one of these options:
- Gallery (your images)
- Solid Color (from WhatsApp)
- Wallpapers (from WhatsApp)
Step 7. Tap on a new wallpaper
Step 8. Tap on Set Up
You have now set your new wallpaper!
Method 2 of 2: On an iPhone
Step 1. Open WhatsApp
Step #2. Tap on Settings
Step #3. Tap Chats
Step #4. Tap on Wallpaper
Step 5. Tap one of these options:
- Wallpapers (from WhatsApp)
- Solid colors (from WhatsApp)
- Photos (taken by yourself)
Step 6. Tap on a new wallpaper
Step 7. Tap on Set
You have now set your new wallpaper!
Step 8. Tap on Wallpaper
This option is in the top left corner of your screen. This will take you back to the 'Background' menu.
