This article will teach you how to tell if someone has saved a message you sent to them in a conversation on Snapchat. Saving a post is not the same as taking a screenshot of a Snap.
Steps

Step #1. Open the Snapchat app
This one resembles the figure of a white ghost on a yellow background.
- If you are not logged in yet, click on login and enter your username (or email address) and password.

Step #2. Swipe right on your camera screen
This will take you to the Chats page.

Step 3. Click on a contact's name
This will open a chat window with that contact.
- This must be a contact who has no unread messages.
- You can search for a specific contact by entering the name in the Search bar at the top of the screen.

Step #4. Swipe down on the chat window
This will display your chat history with the selected contact.
If neither you nor your contact have saved any chat messages, you will not be able to scroll up

Step 5. Look for messages with gray backgrounds
If you see a message with a gray background, it was either saved by you or by your contact. Messages you save will have a vertical red bar link on the left. Messages saved by friends will then again have a blue stripe.
