This wikiHow teaches you how to back up photos from your phone's camera roll to your Snapchat account. This can be done on both Android and iPhone devices, as it only requires a dedicated Snapchat folder in the phone or tablet's gallery app. If you don't already have a Snapchat folder on your phone or tablet, create one by saving a photo to your camera roll.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Creating a Snapchat folder on your phone or tablet

Step #1. Open Snapchat
This is a yellow icon with a ghost in it and can be found in the app drawer on Android or the home screen on an iPhone/iPad.

Step #2. Scroll down to the Reminders page
This can be found under the record button and retrieves stories stored in your memories.
On some phones or tablets, you may not have to scroll down, but simply tap an icon that looks like two overlapping photos to open the Memories page

Step 3. Select a reminder to save

Step #4. Tap ⁝ for the snap
This is in the top right corner.

Step 5. Select Export Snap from the menu that appears
This gives you the option to export that snap to the app of your choice.

Step 6. Tap Camera Roll or Save Image.
The option may vary depending on your phone or tablet. This will send this module to a special folder on your phone or tablet's camera roll that is connected to Snapchat.
Part 2 of 2: Sync photos to Snapchat from your camera roll

Step #1. Open Snapchat
It's the yellow icon with a white ghost in it.
If you're still in the Memories section, tap the Back button until you're back to the main Snapchat screen

Step #2. Tap on your profile picture
It's in the top left corner of the screen when you open Snapchat.

Step #4. Scroll down and select Reminders
This can be found under the My Account tab on the Settings page.

Step 5. Select Import Snaps from Camera Roll
It is critical that you create a Snapchat folder on your camera roll before this step, as no photos will be displayed when you choose this option if there is no Snapchat folder on your phone or tablet

Step 6. Select photos from your camera roll that you want to back up to your Snapchat account
To add all the photos from your camera roll to Snapchat, tap the red option Select all top center of the page.

Step 7. Tap Import [number] Snaps
It's a red button below the photos that syncs the photos you've selected from your camera roll to your Snapchat account.
