This wikiHow teaches you how to back up photos from your phone's camera roll to your Snapchat account. This can be done on both Android and iPhone devices, as it only requires a dedicated Snapchat folder in the phone or tablet's gallery app. If you don't already have a Snapchat folder on your phone or tablet, create one by saving a photo to your camera roll.
Part 1 of 2: Creating a Snapchat folder on your phone or tablet
Step #1. Open Snapchat
This is a yellow icon with a ghost in it and can be found in the app drawer on Android or the home screen on an iPhone/iPad.
Step #2. Scroll down to the Reminders page
This can be found under the record button and retrieves stories stored in your memories.
On some phones or tablets, you may not have to scroll down, but simply tap an icon that looks like two overlapping photos to open the Memories page
Step 3. Select a reminder to save
Step #4. Tap ⁝ for the snap
This is in the top right corner.
Step 5. Select Export Snap from the menu that appears
This gives you the option to export that snap to the app of your choice.
Step 6. Tap Camera Roll or Save Image.
The option may vary depending on your phone or tablet. This will send this module to a special folder on your phone or tablet's camera roll that is connected to Snapchat.
