In this article, we'll show you how to use the Tilt Shift filter to blur your photos in a stylish way.
Steps

Step #1. Open Instagram
It is an orange-pink app with a white camera on it, usually the app binds to your home screen (iPhone/iPad) or in the app drawer (Android).
Enter your Instagram username and password if prompted, then tap Sign In

Step 2. Tap the button to create a new post
That's the square with a plus sign (+) at the bottom center of the Instagram window.

Step #3. Select an image and tap Next
This button is located at the top right of the screen.

Step #4. Tap on Edit
This is at the bottom of the window.

Step 5. Scroll to the right and tap on Tilt Shift
That's the penultimate edit option.

Step 6. Select a blur effect
Choose one of the two options and then edit as desired.
- Radial: with this option you blur the corners of the window, a round part in the middle remains bright.
- Move your finger over the photo to brighten the area of the subject.
- Move your fingers together or apart to adjust the size of the blur effect.
- Linear: This option keeps a linear portion of the photo bright while the rest of the photo becomes blurred.
- Move your finger over the photo to select the area of the subject.
- Move your fingers together or apart to adjust the size of the blur effect.
- Tap and rotate your two fingers to rotate the linear piece.

Step 7. Tap Done
This is at the bottom of the window.

Step 8. Share your photo
Type your text in the text box, if desired, and tap Share. Your faded photo will now show up on your Instagram timeline.
