This wikiHow teaches you how to search for someone's Instagram profile if you don't have an account yourself.
Step 1. Find out the profile name of the person on Instagram you are looking for
You can search for an account if you know the username.
- Note that you can search for all accounts, but only view photos from public accounts.
- You can often find people's Instagram usernames on their other social media accounts.
Step 2. Go to https://www.instagram.com in a web browser
You can access Instagram on your computer without logging in by visiting this website.
Step 3. Add /profile_name to the end of the URL
Replace 'profile_name' with the username of the person you are looking for.
For example, if you're looking for the wikiHow-Instagram page, add /wikihow to the end of the URL in the address bar. The URL will then look like this:
Step 4. Click ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return.
If you got the name right, you'll go to the profile page. If the account is private, you'll see the message "This account is private" instead of the photos the user has shared.
Step 5. Search Google for Instagram accounts
If you're looking for a celebrity or other public figure, you can usually use Google.
- For example, if you're looking for Beyonce's Instagram feed, search for "Beyonce's official Instagram account." If you add 'official' you can find the real account (instead of fan accounts).
- Once you find the account in the results, click the link to view the photos and videos.
