    • Has a relationship
    • Engaged
    • Married
    • Has a registered partnership
    • Has a cohabitation contract
    • It's complicated

Warnings

  • Before you make a major change in your relationship status public on Facebook, make sure you tell the people who matter to you first. Your parents or siblings may not like it so much if they read on Facebook that you're engaged instead of telling them yourself.
  • A change in your relationship status should always be discussed with your partner before making any adjustments on Facebook. You need to make sure you have the same idea about your relationship.
