This wikiHow teaches you how to share long iPhone videos with others, even if they are too large to send via text or email. Before you start, make sure you have the Dropbox app on your iPhone.
Steps
Step #1. Open Dropbox on your iPhone or iPad
It's the blue icon with a white open box inside. You can usually find it on the home screen.
Step 2. Add the video to Dropbox
If the video is already in your Dropbox, you can skip this step. If not:
- Click + Create bottom center of the screen.
- Click Upload photos.
- Navigate to the folder containing the video.
- Click on the video to select it.
- Click Next one.
- Select a Dropbox folder where you will save the video.
- Click Upload. This may take a while if the video is really long.
Step #3. Tap the video you want to send
If you're not already in the folder where the video is saved, tap the folder to open it, then tap the video.
Step #4. Tap on the Share icon
It's the blue outline of a person and a + symbol in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 5. Enter the recipient's email address
To start typing, tap the “To:” field and your keyboard will pop up.
Step 6. Click Submit
It's in the top right corner of the screen. This will send you an email with a link to the video. The recipient can then click or tap the link to view it in Dropbox.
