Steps
Method 1 of 2: Save a video

Step #1. Open Telegram on your Android
This is the blue circle with a white paper airplane in it. You can usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Step #2. Tap on the chat that contains the video

Step #3. Tap the arrow in the video
This is a blue circle with a white arrow pointing down. The video will now download to the default download location on your Android.
Method 2 of 2: Set up automatic video downloads

Step #1. Open Telegram on your Android
This is the blue circle with a white paper airplane in it. You can usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Step #2. Tap on ☰
It's in the top left corner of the screen.

Step #3. Tap on Settings
This is at the bottom of the menu.

Step #4. Scroll down and tap on Data & Storage
It's under the "Settings" heading.

Step 5. Tap on If connected to Wi-Fi
A list of options appears.

Step 6. Check the box next to Videos
This ensures that videos in messages are automatically downloaded to your phone or tablet when you are connected to the WiFi.

Step 7. Tap on Save
The changes have been applied immediately.
