In this article you can read how to delete files that have been downloaded to your smartphone or tablet with Android, and that are stored in the memory.
Steps

Step #1. Open the app drawer
In most versions of Android, it is an icon at the bottom of the screen that consists of several dots. Tap the icon to open the app drawer.

Step #2. Tap on Downloaded Files
You will find this option among the Apps shown. They are usually in alphabetical order.
- Some versions of Android do not have the Downloaded Files app. In that case you may have to open the File Manager first, for example Files or My files and then on Downloaded files must tap.

Step #3. Tap and hold the file you want to delete
Your device will be in 'Select mode'; tap other files to select them

Step 4. Tap on the 'Delete' icon
This could be a trash can at the top or bottom of the screen, or the word "DELETE."

Step 5. Tap on DELETE
This confirms that you want to remove the downloaded files from your device.
- In some versions of Android, a dialog box may ask you to click OK to tap.
