Google Chrome has numerous icons, all of which can be changed in the Google Chrome Properties menu (or the Info menu on the Mac). However, if you don't like the available icon choices, you can download and install a new icon from the Internet.

Method 1 of 2: Using the Properties menu

Step 2. Type 'Google Chrome' in the search bar

This will take you to the Google Chrome folder, for example your 'Documents' folder.

If your Chrome icon was previously pinned to your taskbar or start menu, you'll need to uncheck it, then pin it again with the original file you found in Chrome's directory (before the icon swapping is visible

Step 1. Open a browser of your choice

To install a new icon, you must first download an icon file (.ico) from the Internet.

Step 2. Type 'Google Chrome alternative icon' in your browser

Some sites allow you to choose the size of the icon or choose from several color schemes.

If your Chrome icon was previously pinned to your taskbar or start menu, you'll need to delete it and then re-pin it with the original file you found in Chrome's folder before the new icon appears
