Google Analytics gives you insight into who visits your Blogger blog and where your visitors come from. To install Google Analytics on Blogger, you need an active Blogger blog. If your blog was created after 2006, you can use the first steps of this article. If you have an older blog and you're still using the classic template, you'll need to take other steps or update your blog's template. It can take up to 24 hours after installation for Google Analytics to start working.
Method 1 of 4: Create a Google Analytics account
Step 1. If you don't have a Google account yet, create one now
Go to google.com, click Sign In, then Create an Account.
Step 2. Click here to go to the Google Analytics website
Step #3. Click Create an Account
If you are not already logged in, do so now and enter your Google username and password.
Step 4. Save your communication preferences
The first time you log in to Google Analytics, you will be asked to save your communication preferences. If you do not want Google Analytics to send you emails, please uncheck the boxes shown and click Save Preferences.
Step 5. Start using Google Analytics
Click Sign Up to start using Google Analytics right away.
Step 6. Enter an account name
In the Account Name field, enter a name for your Google Analytics account.
For example, your account name can be the name of your Blogger weblog, but also your Google username or whatever combination of words you want
Step 7. Enter the name of your Blogger blog
In the Website Name field, enter the name of your Blogger blog.
The name of your blog does not have to match the name you enter in Google Analytics, but if you have multiple blogs, it is useful to enter the correct names so that you can keep the sites apart
Step 8. Add the URL of your Blogger blog
In the Website URL field, enter the link of your Blogger blog.

Method 2 of 4: Add the Google Analytics Tracking ID to your Blogger blog
Step 1. Get your Google Analytics Tracking ID
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Get Tracking ID.
If you click Do not accept, you will not be able to use Google Analytics.
Step 3. Copy your Tracking ID
Select the alphanumeric code under the Tracking ID heading and copy it.
You can also write down the code if you want
Step 4. Go to Blogger and log in to your account
If you're already signed in to your Google account, you don't need to do this anymore
Step 5. In the menu on the left side of the page, click Settings
If you don't see a Settings menu, you're using the classic template.

Step 6. Paste your Google Analytics Tracking ID into the field under the Analytics Web ID heading
Method 3 of 4: Add the Google Analytics Tracking ID to a classic Blogger template
To update your blog's template, click here.
Step 1. Get your tracking code
You can find this on Google Analytics under the heading This is your tracking code. Select the code and copy it.
Step 2. Go to the Template tab
Click the Template tab at the top of the screen to go to your blog's template code.
Step 3. Add the Google Analytics code to the HTML code of your template
Scroll through the code until you find the code. Paste the Google Analytics code in the white line above this code.
Step 4. Save your changes
Click Save changes.
