Bricks are decorative building blocks in Minecraft. They make houses, towers and other buildings more beautiful to look at and can be used to build a stone staircase. You can also make a good non-flammable fireplace with it.
Melting individual stones
Step 1. My one clay block
Clay is located next to or in rivers or lakes. Each clay block produces four clay balls, which are obtained by breaking the clay block by hand or with a shovel.
Step 2. Place the four clay balls in the oven
The furnace will melt the clay balls into four bricks.
With brick blocks you can build with a different look than with the simple bricks formed by melting. First of all, you need to make brick blocks.
Step 1. Place the four bricks you made in the previous section in the work grid and arrange them as follows:
- Place a stone in the center slot.
- Place a stone in the slot to the left of the center.
- Place the remaining two stones directly below the first two stones.
Step 2. Make the brick block
To place it in your inventory, click and hold shift or drag it to your inventory.
Using brick blocks as an ingredient to build
Step 1. Make a stone slab
Brick slabs use half a brick and are convenient for building. To make these, place three stone blocks in the bottom row of the work grid. This makes six stone slabs. Hold shift while clicking or drag them to your inventory.
Step 2. Make a stone staircase
By combining brick stairs you get a long staircase. Place six brick blocks in the craft grid, three across the bottom row, one in the center and one on the right, and one in the top right corner. This will give you four flights of stairs. Hold down Shift while clicking or drag them to your inventory.
