Have you always wanted to have an infinite supply of cobblestone in Minecraft? Ever found the frustrating discovery that you were just short of one cobblestone building a house? In that case, read on quickly, because this article will explain in detail how you can make an infinite cobblestone generator, with or without pushers. Have fun!
Steps
Method 1 of 3: A simple cobblestone generator

Step 1. Dig a hole 2 blocks long and 1 block wide

Step 2. Dig a second hole, one block away from the first hole, 1 block long and 1 block wide

Step 3. Dig another block in the first hole, in the space next to the second hole

Step 4. Put water in the top level of the first hole
The water should now flow down into the opening of the hole.

Step 5. Create a mining area between the two holes
Directly below the hole you want to use as a mine, dig a hole 2 blocks long and 1 block wide. Stand in the mining area.

Step 6. Put lava in the second hole

Step 7. Work the block between the water and lava with the pickaxe and wait for cobblestones to form
A new block of boulder should now appear as soon as you finish mining.
Method 2 of 3: A more comprehensive cobblestone generator

Step 1. Make two pillars, 4 blocks high and one block apart

Step 2. Place a square around the top of the pillars

Step 3. Dig a hole, 2 blocks wide
Make the hole on the left side of the pillar.

Step 4. Place a water source to the far left of the hole

Step 5. Dig three holes between the pillars, in the center

Step 6. Place a lava source in the center of the square you created on top of the pillars

Step 7. Destroy the block in the middle of the water and the lava will flow
You can start winning cobblestone.
Method 3 of 3: A cobblestone generator with a pusher

Step 1. Dig a hole two blocks down and two blocks wide
Place a glass-topped adhesive plunger into the hole.

Step 2. Create containers for the lava and water
Don't post them yet, because you'd rather not start over. The lava comes on the side closest to the pusher, glass and water on the other side. The hole allows the water to flow to the lava, creating cobblestone here.

Step 3. Now we are going to make a redstone machine to detect if a block of cobble is formed
Add a redstone torch and a repeater on one side, and sprinkle some redstone dust on the ground on the other side. Do not place a cobblestone.

Step 4. Now we are going to put the pusher to work
At the site of the redstone wire, dig one block towards the water and dig another block away from the pushers and one block towards the lava.
Step 5. Now place the water first, then the lava
The generator will work, but only push the blocks up.

Step 6. Add another pusher to push the blocks to the side making it easier to use them for mining resources, or add another machine to build a self-healing wall

Step 7. Now add another repeater to the block on the lava container, which is right next to the first redstone wire we laid down
The repeater must be set on the first tap. Then add two blocks as shown in the picture, fasten them and put the pushers to work there.

Step 8. Now we add a detector that can indicate when the pusher working sideways can no longer move blocks
From the block with the redstone torch, place 9 redstones on the ground, away from the lava. Then place a block and place redstone on top. Place another redstone torch on the ground next to the block the cobblestone was pushed under. This blows out the first redstone torch and stops the generator. You also do not have to reset it. If none of the pushers can move the new boulder, it will stay there and the circuit will stay on until you destroy the block next to the lava. This will ensure that the cobblestone formation continues.

Step 9. Finally add an on/off switch
Go to the block with the first redstone torch on it and place a switch at the back to turn the generator on and off.

Step 10. The generator is ready
You can also use this to build self-repairing bridges or walls.
Tips
- You should do this around the spawn point, unless you're using a hack that makes your health infinite or you're using a diamond armor in good condition.
- Note that cobblestones form as soon as you replace the block.
Warnings
- Be careful around lava.
- You have to react quickly when you place a block near lava
