Skribbl.io is a fun online game where you have to draw things and the other players have to guess what you have drawn. Private rooms in Skribbl are rooms that you can only access through an invite link. This is useful if you only want to play with people you know, such as friends or family. This wikiHow teaches you how to create your own private room in Skribbl!
Steps

Step 1. Open https://skribbl.io/ in a web browser
You can use any web browser on a PC or Mac. You can play the game on the Skribbl website, so there is no need to download anything.

Step 2. Enter your name in the first field
Use the text field above the image of your avatar. You can enter both your nickname and your own name.
You can also leave this field blank. Then the game will give you a random name

Step 3. Select a language
Use the drop-down menu next to your name to select a language. With this you indicate in which language the words appear in the room that you will create later.

Step 4. Use the top arrows to adjust your avatar's eyes (optional)
The figure in the middle of the screen on the left is your avatar. Your avatar is an animated doll that represents you during the game. You can use the arrows to the left and right of your avatar to customize the avatar. The top arrows are for adjusting the eyes (optional). There are 31 different options regarding the eyes.
You can also click on the die in the top right corner. A random avatar will then be created for you

Step 5. Use the middle arrows to adjust your avatar's mouth (optional)
The middle arrows to the left and right of your avatar are for adjusting your avatar's mouth. There are 24 different options to choose from.

Step 6. Use the bottom arrows to change the color of your avatar (optional)
The lower arrows to the left and right of your avatar are for changing the color of your avatar. There are eighteen colors to choose from.

Step 7. Click on Make Private Room
It's the blue button at the bottom of the screen. This creates a private room that you can invite people to instead of a public room where everyone can play.
If you see an ad, just wait for it to pass

Step 8. Choose how many rounds you want to play
The default is three rounds. Use the drop-down menu at the top of the screen to choose how many rounds you want to play.
You can choose from two to ten rounds

Step 9. Choose the 'Draw time in seconds'
This determines how long each player has to draw. The default drawing time is eighty seconds.
You can choose from thirty to one hundred and eighty seconds

Step 10. Change the language if you haven't already done so
Change the language to that of your own country or to the language in which all players communicate with each other.

Step 11. Add your own words
Own words are words that you can draw to draw when it is your turn. Place a comma between the words when entering. You must enter at least four words and the words can be a maximum of thirty letters.
If you are the only player who wants to use your own words, click the check mark below the text field

Step 12. Click on Copy next to the link
The link is shown when you hover the arrow of your mouse over the white bar at the bottom of the screen. Click on the yellow button with the text To copy to copy the link. You can forward the link to your friends and invite them to play in your room.

Step 13. Share the link with your friends
Paste the link in a message to your friends to invite them to play in your room. For example, you can send the link by e-mail or Whatsapp message or post it on social media or a forum. To paste the copied link, right-click and then click To stick. Up to twelve people can play in a private room.
- The friends you invite will first be sent to the homepage of the website. Here they have to enter their name and possibly adjust their avatar. When they are done with this, they click the green button that says Play.
- If the link doesn't bring your friends to the private room, you can try to copy the link by right-clicking it and then clicking To copy instead of using the copy button. If that doesn't work either, you can try typing the link.

Step 14. Click Start Game after everyone is in the room
This will start a new game. A game in a private room works the same as a game in a public room.
- The only difference is that whoever created the room wears a crown.
- At least one other player is needed in the room before you can start the game.
