This article will teach you how to remove the censorship grid covering your Sims. By default, your Sims don't have nipples or genitals; custom skins or other content is required for anything other than “Barbie Anatomy”. This article will teach you how to remove the censorship mosaic in The Sims.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Removing the nudity mosaic in The Sims 4

Step 1. In an internet browser, go to
This contains a mod for The Sims 4 that can remove the mosaic from the Sims.
Mods are only available for PC and Mac. Mods cannot be installed on PS4 or Xbox One

Step 2. Click on Files
This is the second tab below the mod's images. This will display the download file.

Step 3. Click on moxiemason_nomosaic_toddlerupdate_15012017.rar
This will download the mod file.

Step 4. Open the RAR file
To open the RAR file, you need WinRAR or 7-zip.
On Mac, you can use The Unarchiver – just double click the file to extract it

Step 5. Extract the package file to the mods folder for The Sims 4
After opening a RAR file, you need to click "Extract to" or "Extract" and extract the package file to the following location:
Docs > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
. Then click on 'Ok'.

Step 6. Enable mods in the game if necessary
In The Sims 4, mods are not automatically enabled by default. You can enable mods in the Options menu by following these steps. You have to do this every time the game is updated.
- Start your game.
- Click the button with three dots in the top right corner.
- Click on 'Game Options'.
- Click on 'Other' in the Options menu.
- Check "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Enable Script Mods".
- Click Apply changes.
- Restart your game.

Step 7. Start your game
If you installed the mod correctly, your Sims should now no longer be mosaic covered when not wearing any clothes.
Method 2 of 3: Removing the nudity censorship in The Sims 3

Step 1. Make sure your mod's structure is set
If you don't have the 'Resource.cfg' file in your Mods folder, none of the mods will work. You can find the structure for installing mods in Mod The Sims, here. Simply extract the FrameworkSetup file and place the newly created Mods folder (with its contents) in
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3
.

Step 2. In an internet browser, go to
You can use any browser on PC or Mac.
Mods do not work on console versions of The Sims 3

Step 3. Click on Version 14
This will download the mod file for the latest version of The Sims 3.
If you receive a "Network Error" message when you click "Version 14", click the green button that says Download for patch 1.67/69 instead

Step 4. Extract the file
The file will be a.package file named 'NRaas_Decensor_VR.zip'. You will need a compression utility such as Winzip, WinRAR or 7-zip to extract the file. Follow the steps below to extract the contents of the zip file.
- In Windows you need to right click on the.zip file and select Extract all.
- On Mac, you have to double click on the.zip file and then it should unpack itself automatically.

Step 5. Place the file in The Sims 3 mods folder
The Sims 3 mods folder is located in the following location:
Docs > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Mods > Packages
.

Step 6. Start your game
If you installed the mod correctly, your Sims should now no longer be covered with a mosaic when they are not wearing any clothes. (You can then use the in-game NRaas menu to toggle the mosaic on or off, depending on whether you want it to be active.)
Method 3 of 3: Sims 2

Step 1. In an internet browser, go to

- If Sim File Share is not enabled, please download it at
- The file can be used if you have Pets or newer expansions.

Step #2. Click Download
This is the blue button at the top of the page. The button will turn green after you click it. This will download the mod's package file.

Step 3. Place the file in the mods folder for The Sims 2
Right click on the package file and copy or cut it. Then paste it in the following location:
Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Downloads
.
If you don't have a Downloads folder in the game's folder, simply click on an empty space in the game's folder and create a new folder called 'Downloads'

Step 4. Start your game
If you installed it correctly, your Sims should now no longer be censored when they are not wearing any clothes.
