Saint Therese promised that after her death she would send down roses from heaven. She also promised that those who pray to her will always receive an answer. Praying to her is therefore considered by many devout Catholics to be very powerful and effective. You can pray a novena every day for 9 days in a row to Saint Therese, to make your wish(s) known to her. You can also try different variations of the prayer for different situations.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Praying a novena to Saint Therese

Step 1. Sit in a comfortable position and quiet yourself for prayer
You can do the prayer at any time of the day and wherever you want. However, many people prefer to pray in a special, quiet place, such as in their bedroom or in a church. You can stand, sit or kneel, whichever feels most comfortable for you.
Some people also light candles while praying to help them focus. If you have a prayer candle, light it before you begin

Step 2. Say the first half of the prayer in front of a picture of Saint Therese
The prayer varies according to the creator of the picture, but goes something like this: "O glorious Saint Theresa, whom Almighty God has raised up to help and inspire us, I beg you for your miraculous intercession. You are so mighty that you know how to obtain the answer to every need of body and mind from the Heart of God. The Church of the Holy Mother proclaims you 'prodigy of miracles' and 'the greatest saint of modern times'."
Another option you could try is: "Saint Therese, Little Flower, pluck for me a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to me with a message of love. Ask God to grant me the favor I beg you for and tell Him I will love Him more and more every day."

Step 3. Make your request clearly known to Saint Therese
Say, "I pray that you will answer my request if it is God's will," and then tell her your wish. Be very specific about what you need from Saint Theresa and tell her as honestly as possible.
For example, if you have a loved one who has health problems, list the loved one's name and what they are going through. Then ask Saint Therese to intercede for them with God and help them heal

Step 4. Finish by emphasizing your good intentions
It is important to conclude with something that has to do with your own intentions. Say that you intend to live as Saint Therese did and show your love for God through your words and deeds. You could say something like, "Little Flower, please give me your childlike faith. I want to see God work in my daily life, and love God more every day. Saint Theresa, I will fulfill your supplication and through you remain others to Jesus." lead. Amen."

Step 5. Repeat the prayer daily for 9 days
Novenas are meant to be prayed every day for a certain amount of time. Traditionally, the novena of Saint Therese is prayed every day for 9 days. Make sure you don't accidentally skip a day. Set a reminder for yourself on your phone, or put a reminder note where you'll see it often, like on your bathroom mirror.
If possible, pray daily between the 9th and 17th of the month. These are dates when people traditionally pray the novena of Saint Therese, so if you pray it during this time, you will join many other praying people

Step 6. Follow up the prayer with the "Glory be to the Father" prayer 24 times
Every day after you finish your prayer to St. Therese, say "Glory to the Father" 24 times, once for each of the years St. Therese has spent on Earth. The "Glory" prayer goes like this:
“Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, so it is now, and ever will be, a world without end. Amen
Tip: Use the beads of a rosary to keep track of how many times you have said the prayer.
Method 2 of 2: Other prayers to Saint Therese

Step 1. Try saying the "My Rose" prayer
This is an abbreviated version of Saint Therese's Novena, which you may find useful if you want to include a prayer to Saint Therese in your daily prayers. Try praying the "My Rose" prayer when you wake up in the morning or at night before going to sleep as a way to reflect, connect with God, and ask for help.
This prayer is often featured on the back of prayer cards of Saint Therese

Step 2. Only use the Miraculous Intervention to Saint Therese in an emergency
This is a powerful prayer, intended for when you are in an emergency and desperately need the help of St. Therese. So try to pray the "Miraculous Intercession to Saint Therese" only if you really need help and your other prayers don't seem to be working.
You can find this prayer on prayer cards or by searching for it online
Tip: Remember that it can sometimes take a while for your prayers to be answered. Try to be patient and keep praying. During a difficult time, reach out to friends and family and ask them to pray with you or support you in some other way.

Step 3. Honor Saint Therese on her feast day with the 'Feast Day Novena'
October 1 is the feast day of Saint Therese, because she died on September 30. By saying the prayer of Saint Therese on her feast day, you honor her and think about how to enrich your spiritual life. You can also make supplication to Saint Therese on her feast day with this prayer.
- You can find this prayer online or on some of Saint Therese's prayer cards.
- The nuns of the Carmelite nuns always pray this prayer on the feast day of Saint Theresa, so by praying it also on this feast day, you pray with them.
Tips
- Try to pray the novena at the same time every day so you don't forget. For example, you can say the prayer right after you wake up in the morning, or just before you go to bed at night.
- Because roses are often associated with Saint Therese, people sometimes report seeing, smelling, or getting strong mental images of roses after praying to Saint Therese. If that doesn't happen to you, don't get discouraged! Just keep praying every day and making your wish(s) known.
