Accidentally leaving your keys in your car can be very frustrating. Fortunately, there are a number of ways to get your keys out of the car when you have a loop. It is important to first make sure that you can't get into your car in an easier way. For example, you may have a spare key somewhere or another door may be open. If you've checked all the doors and you still can't get into your car, you can call someone to help you. You can also use tools to open your car door.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Opening the lock with a wire

Step 1. Take a long wire
Find a piece of wire that is at least three feet long. You can also use yarn or a thin rope. You can also use a lace if you don't have any of these materials.

Step 2. Make a slip knot in the middle of the thread
You make a slip knot by making a loop and pulling one end of the thread through the loop. Make another loop about 13 cm away from the first loop using the same method. Then pull the second loop through the first loop and pull the loose end to tighten the knot. This creates a knot that you can tighten by pulling on one end.

Step 3. Run the wire over the corner of the door
Place the wire at the top left corner of the door and pry back and forth by pulling on the ends. Keep prying until the wire enters the car.

Step 4. Position the loop over the lock
Position the wire centered closer to the lock of your car. You may have to try a few times before you get the loop in the slip knot right over the lock. Carefully lower the loop over the lock.

Step 5. Pull one end of the thread to tighten the knot
When the loop is around the lock, you can pull on one end of the thread to tighten the knot. Make sure to pull hard so that the knot is as tight as possible. Older cars will be easier to open with this method.

Step 6. Pull the wire up to open the lock
Release the bottom wire and pull the top wire to open the lock. The door should now be open. You can now get your keys out of the car.
Method 2 of 3: Using a clothes hanger to open the lock

Step 1. Straighten the clothes hanger
Take a clothes hanger and bend it as straight as possible. A longer coat hanger makes it easier to open the lock.

Step 2. Bend one end of the clothes hanger into a V shape
The V-shape of the coat hanger will enter your car and will go around your lock. Make sure that the curved side of the clothes hanger is large enough. This must be able to bypass the lock.

Step 3. Push the clothes hanger between the window and the rubber strip
Push the V-shape of the clothes hanger between the window and the rubber strip around it. You may have to pry back and forth a bit before it works. Keep doing this until the clothes hanger goes between the window.
Be careful. You can damage the rubber strips with this

Step 4. Pry the clothes hanger back and forth until you get the lock
Pry the clothes hanger back and forth until you grab the lock. The mechanism should be above the door handle of your car. Be patient. It may take several tries before it succeeds.

Step 5. Pull up to open the lock
Pull up the clothes hanger when wrapped around the lock. This will open the lock in your door. First check that your clothes hanger is on the lock before pulling it up.
Method 3 of 3: Calling for help

Step 1. Call a locksmith
Find a locksmith near you. Call the locksmith and ask if he or she can come to your car. Don't forget to ask what the rates are if you want to know what it will cost.

Step 2. Call the roadside assistance service
Roadside assistance service can get your car open without damaging your car. These services often give you a card with a phone number that you can call.
Popular roadside assistance services are ANWB, BOVAG and Route Mobiel

Step 3. Get help from the police
Police officers have the tools to unlock your car when it's locked. Some police stations will only respond if the engine is still running or if the car is a danger to someone. Call the police and see if they can help you get your keys back.
