The Pinterest "Pin It" button can be added to most major web browsers and allows you to quickly pin content you've found to your own Pinterest account. Installing the "Pin It" button is now done and this procedure is almost completely automatic.
Steps
Method 1 of 1: Installing the button
Step 1. Go to the Pinterest Goodies page with the browser you want to add the "Pin It" button to
The website is pinterest.com/about/goodies/.
You can add the Pin It button in Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari
Step 2. Click on "Install Now" button
Follow the prompts that appear to install the button. You may need to give permission to install software, or press an "Add" button. The procedure varies slightly depending on your browser and security settings.
Step 3. Enable the Command Bar (Internet Explorer only)
Some versions of Internet Explorer hide the Command Bar where the Pin It button is installed. To see this button, you will need to enable the Command Bar.
- Right-click on the title bar of the Internet Explorer window.
- Click on the "Command Bar" option.
Step 4. Click the "Pin It" button to save interesting content from websites
The photos on the website are displayed in a window, allowing you to choose which one you want to pin.
You can also press the "Pin it" button that appears when hovering over the images to pin them
Step 5. Sign in to Pinterest
If you're not already logged into your Pinterest account, you'll be prompted to log in after you've chosen to pin something.
