Steps
Method 1 of 2: Making a one shoulder strap gown

Step 1. Fold the sheet in half widthwise, so that it is the correct length
Hold it in front of your body to determine the size of the fold. The gown should cover you from your chest to your knees.

You can make the gown longer or shorter, depending on your personal preference.

Tie a double knot on top of your shoulder.
-
Drape the sides of the sheet around your body as you turn so that the gown is tight enough to stay in place.

Step 2. Wrap it around your body like a towel a few times
Release a piece of about 1 meter from the front of your body.

Step 3. Twist the loose tip a few times and place it on your left shoulder
Wrap it behind your neck and tuck it well under your right arm.

Step 4. Hold the gown in place with a few safety pins
Also remember to pin the loose end.

Step 5. Complete your creation with a gold ribbon or cord, or a braided belt around your waist
Wear a gold headband or leaf wreath in your hair. Party in your latest outfit!
Tips
- Wear a strapless bra or white tube top under your gown in case it comes off during the party.
- Use an inexpensive sheet that you can throw away later, especially if you're going to a big party where it could get dirty.
- If you're concerned that the gown will show through, wear white clothing underneath (such as shorts and a camisole). That way you will feel more at ease.
