You can find absolutely everything on YouTube. And what makes it even more fun: you can share your favorite YouTube videos with all your friends on Facebook! Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the share feature on YouTube
Step 1. Go to YouTube
Find a video you want to share on Facebook. Simply enter the desired search terms in the search field and a list of suggestions will appear.
Step 2. Click on a video in the search results
Step 3. Share the video
There are several options to share via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or your own website. To share on Facebook, do the following:
- Click the Share button below the video.
- Now more options appear. Click on the Facebook icon.
- Click the Facebook icon in the row of options.
- Log in to Facebook. If you weren't already logged in to Facebook, please enter the email address and password associated with your Facebook account now.
- Choose how the video should be displayed. Select where within Facebook you want to share the video by using the drop-down menu. For example, you can post the video on a friend's timeline, on your own timeline, in a group, or in a personal message.
- Optionally, enter a message or comment for your video (optional).
- Click the "Share" button to share the video and complete the process.
- Check to verify. Open Facebook and check to see if your video is actually posted the way you intended.
Method 2 of 2: Manually post a URL
Step 1. Go to the YouTube website
Search for the video you want to share using the search function.
Step 2. Click on a video in the search results
Step 3. Click the Share button below the video
Now more options appear.
Step 4. Adjust the settings to your liking
For example, you can have the video start at a certain time, you can customize what the URL looks like, and in some cases you can choose to link to the HD version.
Step 5. Copy the URL into the text field above the options
Press Ctrl + C (Windows) or Command + C (Mac OS X) to copy.
Step 6. Log in to your Facebook account
Step 7. Paste the link of the video in your status field, where the text is:
"What are you doing?". Do this by pressing Ctrl-V on a PC, or Command-V on a Mac.
- If desired, type a message in the text field and click the Placesbutton to post the video to your timeline. To post to a friend's timeline, go to their Facebook profile and follow the same steps.
