This wikiHow teaches you how to sign out of your YouTube account on a computer, phone, or tablet. For Android, you can't sign out of YouTube without signing out of all other Google apps associated with your account.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: On a computer

Step 1. Go to https://www.youtube.com via your internet search engine
If you're signed in to YouTube, your profile or channel picture (if you have one) will appear in a circle in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 2. Click on your profile or channel picture
This is located in the top right corner of the page. A menu will now appear.

Step #3. Click Sign Out
It's about in the middle of the menu. This will sign you out of your YouTube account.
Method 2 of 3: On an iPhone or iPad

Step #1. Open YouTube on your iPhone or iPad
This is the white icon with a red square in it and a white triangle in the middle. It's usually on your home screen.

Step #2. Tap on your account picture
It's the circle in the top right corner of the screen.

Step #3. Tap Switch Accounts
This is located pretty much at the bottom of the menu.

Step #4. Tap Use YouTube Logged Out
This is pretty much at the bottom of the menu. This will sign you out of your YouTube account.
Method 3 of 3: On Android

Step #1. Open YouTube on your Android
This is the white icon with a red square in it and a white triangle in the middle. It's usually on your home page and/or in your app drawer.
- It is not possible on Android to log out of YouTube without deleting your entire account from your phone or tablet. This will also sign you out of all other apps that share your account. Including Google Maps, Gmail and your Android (if you are signed in with this account).
- If you just want to watch the videos anonymously, tap your profile picture in the top right corner of your screen and tap Turn on incognito.
- If you choose to have the entire account including associated data from your Android, follow this way.

Step #2. Tap on your profile icon
This is the circle in the top right corner of your screen. A menu will appear.

Step #3. Scroll down and tap Switch Accounts
It's pretty much at the bottom of the menu. A list of your accounts will then appear.

Step 4. Tap Manage Accounts or Sign out.
The option you see may depend on your version, settings and number of accounts.

Step 5. Tap on the account you want to delete
You may be on google must tap before your account name appears.

Step 6. Tap on Delete Account
If this option is not listed, tap the ⁝ in the top right corner, then select Remove Account. A confirmation message will appear stating that all data associated with this account will be removed from your Android.

Step 7. Tap there to confirm Delete Account
You are now signed out of YouTube and all other associated apps that are on this Android.
